Just purchased my second 4200 a 2002 manual with skyhook. I am looking to sharpen the handle and reduce the role, dive and wallow. I had my last CC lowered and geo'd to GS spec by Matthew at Giallo which made quick a big difference to the car. This time I am considering doing the same but just want to get some members take on whether to go down the ARB and or lowering spring upgrade route instead and which gives the best results. Would upgrading the ARB's and lowering the standard springs yield good results? I know several members recommend the FD stuff but has anyone much experience with H&R springs?103816

There are a couple of recent threads about fitting new Coilovers instead of the Skyhook dampers.

The FD ARB is a fantastic upgrade, it moves the balance to the rear so the chassis is more neutral and makes the car extremely agile mid corner. Totally transforms the car, I left the springs and coilovers stock skyhook but others took it further and it dials in the car even more however you lose more ride comfort once you start messing with the springs/dampers

Thanks for that. I had the car on a lift yesterday and the stock rear ARB looks very flimsy compared to the front. Did you upgrade both front and back and how easy where they to fit

Front one easy, rear one not so easy
