Hi all. My skyhook is not working I confirmed this yesterday by disconnecting the ECU in the boot and it defaulted to the hardest setting (Sport). With the ECU connected the car is in normal mode and pressing the sport button makes no difference. No warning lights on the dash. FYI the ECU is 182864. How can I fix this? Thanks

If connecting the ECU puts it back in normal mode..its working !
Maybe you have a sensor down...thats what causes the dash light..?
I thought you said disconecting the ECU didnt give a dash warning...?

I have no warning light on the dash whether the ECU is connected or not.

The nly way the SH gets diagnosed in detail is via SD2/3 - so it seems a MD or indy visit is on the cards...

Just to add, if you plan to install coilovers then leave the sports option off on the dash ECU or you will be paying for someone to turn it off again

Yes I am planning on fitting coilovers. It just bugs me that it is not working and i would like to fix the issue for my own peace of mind. FYI when pressing the sport button the sport light does come on. Thanks

Mine's a manual. I know that the sport button on a CC does three things, stiffens the suspension, speeds up the shifts and improves throttle response. I presume on a manual it only stiffens the suspension and improves throttle response?

It only stiffens the suspension... No change to the throttle.

Personally I liked it with the skyhook ECU disconnected it made the car want to oversteer more, once I got the sports mode working I was disappointed by the amount of understeer the car had which is why I went on to do the ARB upgrade.

Ok thanks for clarifying. I've ordered the ceika coilovers so I will simply fit them and disconnect the ECU.
