Hi Guys,
Checking my disc I see it's 2001, so way out of date! Have checked online, the latest version of Navtech is £139 but I also see discs at £34. Big price difference! Can anyone comment on the performance of the cheaper discs?[/SIZE]

I haven't tried the cheaper discs, so can't comment on those. I agree it is a huge price difference.
Given how slow my Sat Nav is I couldn't justify spending the £100+ on a Navtech disc. ('Cheaper to get a better perfoming Tom tom', I argued to myself).

Every now and then a second hand disc will appear on E-bay - I got one for about £40 (from memory), a year or so ago.
If you want a very recent edition, this may entail a long, wait, however.

Good luck,
David

I bit the bullet and bought one from Nateq, They gave me a 10% discount and the UK&I package includes an extra disc covering major european roads. My Mas is my new toy so don't feel too bad about spending money on it. Though I'll be glad when the novelty wears off and I start driving my 2 litre diesel again, far too many trips to the gas station at the moment.
