4200 Phone Holder

Really struggling to find something to hold my iPhone 7 Plus on the vertical centre console - what does everyone use?

I bought an airvent clipped one (with adjustable clip) but it scratched the vent covers - they’re covered with the same sticky sh*tty material as the buttons I think.

I refuse to have the phone mounted to the windscreen like an Uber driver, and the screen’s too small anyway.

I just went from a vent clip in my GS to a CD slot holder after finding the vent clip one wouldn't hold the phone upright reliably:

Seems to work much better but you do need to mind what gets difficult to access (just the aircon buttons for internal circulation and ECON in the case of a GS, I forget the exact positioning for a 4200).
