Hi, I noticed some dampness in the passenger foot well and found some good posts explaining it could be water backing up from the AC drainage pipe. So, got to work, found the outlet pipe by the driver's footwell. Pulled the round tube (call this Tube A) out of the square connector that feeds to the outside but the tube came away completely. I could see that someone had tried repairing tube A with some gunge that was not very effective! What seems to have happened is that the whatever tube A connects to has been pushed down onto it and compressed it and in the process pierced it - nice work. Now, to get tube A reconnected requires much smaller hands than I have! So I was thinking that the tube that it connects on to maybe comes from near the pollen filter so I figured I'd take a look in there and I could maybe move it up a little to stop it crushing tube A - right now I'm struggling with getting the wiper blade off - nut removed, but prying this is not going so well. I'll go back to that in a few mins and hopefully more effort will do the trick but any tips appreciated.
What would be great to know though is whether the tube that tube A connects on to is accessible from the pollen filter area - I don't mind taking some time to find out but if someone is reading this and knows it may save me some time.
cheers
Adam
