Ever since Ewan told me about the change in boot line on the 412 I can't not see it and I think it really spoils the lines.

That certainly is a strong colour combination, and will limit the buyers and therefore value. Shame, as reads as though it could be quite a nice one. It’ll be a cheap 412 for someone.

You could always re colour the leather trim and it would be a totally different car with beige or black done by someone like Connelly Leather if they are still around.
They used to come and do cars for my father back in the 60's and 70's.

red leather interiors always look brighter in photos. Even dark oxblood can look DKR. Not sure what Ferrari red it was in the 80s. Porsche did a can can red and that was truly DKR!

As mentioned above, the interior probably looks ok in reality, it’s the exterior colour I’d have to change. For some reason, to me all 2+2 Ferraris look wrong in red, even back to the 250 GTE. Verde Pinot or Grigio would look much better.
