Windows life/drop queries.
Symptoms:
1. Driver side
Open door from outside, window won't drop(most of the time), has to lower the window a bit using switch inside so door could be closed without blockage by window
Open door from inside, window won't drop (most of the time), has to lower the window a bit using switch
inside. Close the door from outside, sometime the window lift
Open door from inside with window in down position, close window using one touch. Window in top position and sometime drop but sometime not
2. Passenger side
Open door from outside, window drop but slow so you feel there seems to be blockage of window
Close door from inside and window lifts up fine.
Open door from inside and window drops. Close door from outside and window lifts fine.
Did a bit of search in the forum and this could be a cleanup and lubrication job but would be great
if I should buy some parts from Eurospares in advance so that garage could exchange parts while
the door panels being removed.
