Just bought a box with 2 knock sensors from my local Maserati dealer for 70 euros the pair.
I thought this was the price for each.

Has anyone recently bought them to confirm they are sold as a pair and cost this?
I wonder if they sold me 2 for the price of 1 :)

Interesting, I will need one soon as I servicing a friends car and it came up with a knock sensor circuit 1 code when I scanned it.

Where did you order from Jorge?

I picked it up locally in the dealer.
They don't sell online.

It's not the first time I'm pleasantly surprised by their prices.
It's usually cheaper or the same price as eurospares, they carry some stock and orders from Italy arrive in 1 or 2 days

I've bought my last two parts I needed from the dealer. Springs were vastly cheaper, as were steering rack gaitors. Almost 1/2 what some "specialists" wanted. It does pay to ask dealer also and not assume independent will be cheaper.

Yea, that's about right for a 3200 GT, £120 a pair...in a Maserati box from a main dealer!

Yeah you got a good deal, just replaced mine while doing the starter motor, a fun job indeed

Out of curiosity, how many knock sensors are there?

Two of the same type as pictured? Or are there more/2 different types??

Hi guys!

I was asking for the knock sensors here in Austria and they were asking 80€ for 1!
They told me they come in pairs but were confident that the price was for one.
Though David Askew offered me used ones for a really good price, I would not wan to change them in the near future so rather go for new ones.
Has anybody a source of new, cheaper knock sensors?
Would highly appreciate it :)

Thanks!

Definitely 2. I got mine from Euro spares a few years ago, they was quite cheap, sold singly but only £25 each, it may well have been less than that. If the water pump price is anything to go by on another thread expect a massive increase in the price.

It's almost as if somebody is trying to kill off the dogs by making them unviable to repair.

Yea but those Bosch knock sensors fit lots of cars.. If someone feels like to trawling through to Interparts catalogue they'll find an alterative for a third of the price..

Infact I have a pair of perfectly good low mile ones in the draw!

I heard some were trying the Alfa V6 sensors but got fault messages. I assume that the resonant frequency knock of the 3200 GT are built for V8. for sure there are other cars with exactly the same sensors but which ones?
But if I could get them for 80€ a pair at Eurospares I'd just go for them.

Sorry to bother, but in 1-2 months I would like to unwinter my GT and therefore would like to finish some maintenance.
Does anyone know where to purchase 2 new knock sensors for a reasonable price?
At my dealer one costs 80€
I read in GB one gets 2 for that price?
Thanks!
