Greetings,
I'm in the process of ordering some new silicone hoses for the engine bay as I will anyway be replacing the ones under the intake plenum when I replace my knocking sensors.
Looking into the engine bay I spotted some cracks in the inlet hoses going from the intercoolers to the Y-pipe in front of the throttle body. Figured I order a set of silicone ones to replace them with as well. Problem is I have no protractor with which to measure their angle (45 or 60 degree would be my guess), and since I'm everything but a mathematic genius I'm not to keen on calculating the angle after taking measurements. Does anyone know the angle of these inlet hoses? Inner diameter seems to be about 68 mm as measured from the ends of the Y-pipe.
Also, does anyone know where the drain plug for the coolant can be found? Thought I'd try to avoid soaking the engine in coolant when I remove the hoses under the intake plenum...
As always, any help would be much appreciated.
