Hi all. Recently bought an Assetto Corsa , fitted with, what I was told was told, a Capristo exhaust. I do not think they make a 3200 system yet, so trying to figure out what I have fitted. It is well made, and has a nice sound, but I can find no marks on it.
A few pictures below may aid someone in the know to help identify it for me.

It is most likely to be custom made, Autoshield make their own as do loads of other places. So long as it sounds good, don't worry about it.

The official process to identify is as follows: Simply observe pedestrians 100 yds before you arrive at a junction or traffic lights. If they turn to ID the rumble you have the right one :)

Hi allandwf,

I have been doing a bit more research as your exhaust does sound excellent.
From what I have been told, it certainly cannot be a Capristo - both the Capristo factory and UK distributor have told me this.
I was also told that "looking at the images it's also not a Seca. All Seca exhausts have a Seca logo welded to the muffler together with a unique serial number - the shape of the muffler is different.. and the end tips are rolled and double walled."
The search continues - it may possibly be a custom exhaust which seems most likely at this stage.

All the best,

EVO

Hi Allan,

It looks like mine is the same as yours!! I spoke to the first owner who ordered the car from new and specced it - he says it was a system he got Maserati to fit when the car was being made, he quoted me the extra cost it was to add as well, jaw dropping is all I can say

The fluted tail pipes and the welded mounting sections looks very like Larini to me - though perhaps not the weld joint just before the flange (I should be able to write 'flange' without smirking, but I can't). It's a while since I looked at Larinis closely....have a look on their website

Ha! Yes I know, just haven't had decent weather, got 700 miles on it now though , so allowed to be a wee bit dirty.

Mine are different and not original either, stainless circular tail pipes with a rolled finish on the end.
No idea who made them
Personally they are a bit too quiet for my liking - unless they turn heads at traffic lights or scream like a banshee with its balls in a vice at 5000rpm - they need changing.

Yes, top of the class :) Still has the silver grille, might get that sprayed at some point, got a few chips to get touched in, and general detailing wouldn't go amiss. At the moment just getting used to it, where everything is ,(Tools, tyre foam, spare wheel,) what the little beeps etc mean. Overall very happy with the car. Just a pity I'm offshore missing the perfect driving weather!
