3200 Brake Fluid Reservoir Cap Size.

I've measured the internal diameter of the reservoir at 35mm the cap measures 40mm, which is fair enough for thread size, so. What is the correct diameter cap? One thing it's not a standard 45mm. I'm trying to ascertain which brake bleed cap to order, without opting for a whole, expensive, kit

Don’t you want to measure the external diameter of the threaded neck?

Interested to find out as I used the Sealy bleed bottle and ended up having to use a thicker rubber washer from my plumbing box of washers to try and seal - not an ideal solution so having teh right size would be a better solution.

I measured the internal diameter of cap, so would probably be the same, so 40mm.
