3200 abs and speedo problem

Hiya,
Been having a problem abs light coming on sometimes on start up, when I rebot go's off, no error codes showing, all of a sudden speedo starts doing strange things, no registering the correct speed and jumping.
Am I'm right in assuming this is phonic abs rings needed replacing to rear???

Maybe try cleaning of debris/rust first.

Thanks, what would you recommend to clean it with? Can I use wire brush?

Yes you can clean the phonic rings with a wire brush they are pretty basic things. Hard to get in at! They will not affect your speedo readings however. I am trying to remember where the speedo signal comes from and I am pretty sure its off the gearbox somewhere, must be a sensor methinks. you can get the speedo signal off the back of the radio there is a pin with a pulse stream yo u can look at with a scope or a frequency meter.
