Hello gents,

This weekend I embark on a grand adventure to scale the 3 national peaks of England, Scotland and Wales to raise money for Mesothelioma UK.

This is through my work and there are 20 odd of us nutty walkers who are going to do this.

Mesothelioma is a REALLY **** form of Cancer caused by exposure to Asbestos that I wouldn't wish on anyone and is always fatal, Mesothelioma UK are a charity who provide support for the sufferers and families of sufferers of this awful disease.

If you want to know more about it or go and laugh at photos of me falling off a mountain keep an eye on the links below over the next few days, if you're feeling especially humbled by all this then also get yourself over to our Just Giving site and give some of your hard earned to Mesothelioma.

For more information about Mesothelioma UK go to Mesothelioma UK Charitable Trust
For more information about the Team go to SaferSpaces 3Peaks Challenge Team

Cheers guys

Good luck Sean. I did the 3 peaks last year (23.5 hours but we weren't really going for it like some!). A great experience with some fantastic scenery. Which route are you taking?

I'm not entirely sure, as our party is so large we have a mountain guide and he's going to make up the routes on the days based on weather conditions and timings. There's 20+ of us of mixed ability so we aren't attempting it in 24 hours, that would be a logistical nightmare.

Should be good, I did a lot of walking when I was a kid, dragged up every mountain in the lakes by my parents, I think I appreciate it more now though. :)

Weather for Ben Nevis looks bad though :(
