25k mile service

Well the miles are piling on... its in next week (JCT Leeds) for its 25k mile service.

Very short snag list to sort out..
Rattling rear still irritating me
Loose USB, the slightest touch on the usb stick and it faults so I have asked them to look at it
Change the gallons to UK

Remarkably short list.

Will report back how they get on...

I paid about £1300 for a service pack that includes the first 3 services. Not bad, though admittedly 3 oil changes and a couple of filters! This is the second of the services I have had

Yes my MOT is due early Feb and I will be going there.
I have the front discs / pads from the sale in October. They will fit them no problem.
My experience with them has been very very good

Delivered it yesterday, got a BM 420d again as a courtesy car. There was an Italian car transporter just depositing a load of cars when I got there. Still selling ok apparently.

Mine's going in tomorrow for a software update, they're giving me a brand new QPS as a courtesy car. I was offered a diesel Ghibli, but refused as it would be much lower spec than mine!

Did not realise how hard it would be to get a Goodyear Eagle F1,
None of my local tyre fitter places seem to have one - ordered from Camskill in the end.

There were only 2 Ghiblis left on it when I arrived but I also saw a few more, a QP and a GT all shrink wrapped so I assume they had been delivered too.
As for the service they could nt hear or find rattle, said USB was fine and most irritatingly haven't sorted the US gallons. Can anyone confirm this is possible on a Ghibli?

Rattling rear. Can you explain this a bit more? When do you hear it?

What, from a main dealer? My MD always seems to have a Ghibli floating around complete with a nice bold advert on the door showing the latest deal available on the Ghibli diesel!

I had something similar and got it sorted.

It's a hollow rattle coming from the rear over bad road surfaces. Sounds exactly like an anti roll bar bush (had plenty of experience of those going on several alfas!)

I've got the exact same rattle on my QP, just about changed every thing on the rear, even tried some known good dampers and the bloody noise is still there on both sides, let me know please if you find the answer

When I take it to my local independent to remove the winters in March (ish) I will ask him to replace the anti roll bar bushes with poly ones if I can get hold of some. I will let you know if that does the trick.

Oh mine was a clinking sound when pulling away or manoeuvring at slow speeds. Was due to a spacer needed to be fitted somewhere in the back. Got it done under warranty no noise now.
