2013 MC Shift- keeping the car in manual mc shift mode

Hi all.

Every time I start up my 2013 mc shift, I have to press the “auto” button to put it in mc shift mode and out of auto mode.

Is auto the the default setting on start up for this model of car ?

So bloody annoying.

Or is there a way to make the car always start in mc shift mode?

Same as my 2012. Bit annoying

My Strad always starts in Auto and requires the prod of the Race button to establish the proper state of affairs! Pulling for 1st doesn't take it out of auto - it's just the way it is. The automatic cars default to normal every time you start as well.
