2005 QP Avarage Clutch Cost?

Hi Guys,

I hope you are all keeping well.

Can you give me a trypcal total cost for replacing the clutch/other parts as nessesary on my 2005 QP? I have put up 6,000 miles in 6 months now and feel its time to start asking!

I am looking for a 'Drive in-Drive Out' service from a reputable dealer/indy, along with any software upgrades/or improved life components.

Hi Pat.....so you are Hurst bound or crossing the IS?

How many miles on it in total, had a clutch change already?

No doubt like the 4200/GS its a days work plus parts, depending on what else needs replaced

You need to budget around £2000.

Pat, there are different clutches on different QP's so you can only get a definitive price with your chassis no. Autoshield will be able to sort you out if you're crossing the Irish Sea.

Thanks for the info, to quote a little known song, 'Better then I expected, not as good as I hoped!'

There is 60.000km on the QP, I am contacting Hurst to check when the clutch was last replaced. While the clutch is not actually slipping yet, this little voice in my head keeps telling to get the ball rolling!
