This car has had a fortune spent on it. Loads of pics usually means the seller has little or nothing to hide. It's either a really troublesome car that is going to bankrupt the new owner, or has had everything done and will be free of major faults. The guy who owned it in 07-09 spent over £25k on servicing and repairs including a £12k top end engine rebuild! I wonder if he bought another Maserati afterwards? Probably not. The other thing I picked up was a note from the HR Owen technician that one of the chassis legs appeared to have been repaired - could be nothing, could be something - as always a proper check from an indie will sort the wheat from the chaff, even at this money.

The invoices make very scary reading with just about every aspect of the car requiring attention somewhere along the line, not to mention the fact that it's apparently had some frontal body repair work which was seemingly not finished; hence the number plate on the bonnet, missing trident, damaged grille, and possible chassis damage as recorded on one invoice. £7k sounds very tempting, but it wouldn't be a risk that I'd take. BTW, the ad says that it's only ever tasted Selenia when in actual fact Shell Helix was itemised for the top end rebuild.

Listing ended early - looks like he's sold it.

Not suprised at that price ... bet he took around 8k for it....

Maybe, but I'd have thought he would wait for a bit longer if only offered £8k, as it would get more than that on ebay. He had it advertised at the £11.5-12k mark.

Just thinking out loud .... He may have been offered 10k ... We will never know.
