I have a 2.5 width garage with a pitched roof with void.

this one is new for under a grand!

If I was to do my own clutch, I could buy this and the clutch parts for about the same as an Indie clutch, worth some thought....the wife will think I have gone made though.

That is a bargain price, i never thought they were that cheap, i would have though about 3X that. That will come in handy when i get my E30 M3, GS and Integrale :D:D

My dads a mechanic..which is odd as you would have thought I would have followed in his foot steps.

Actually I have a great local mechanic who I wouldn't trust my cars to anyone else..He was a BMW master tech and they are like rocking horse ****, he worked for Lotus, TVR, Bob Horton Ferrari...what he don't know about cars isn't worth knowing........My CSL was the last car he serviced at Cotswold BMW before he branched out on his own. He is a BMW/Mini/TVR specialist but does anything.....Last time I was there he was rebuilding a Lamborghini Diablo. It had been left in a shed for God knows how many years..It was in a terrible mess with a seized engine.....Stu had it sorted though. Over the last year and a half he has built up a great reputation in South Wales and beyond and the best bit is he is very resonable on prices.....

Brilliant the correct person you want when your pride and joy needs TLC. At the Ferrari specialist where i work, the Ferrari Mechanic has worked on Ferrari's for over 25 years along with other supercars such as Lamborghini, he was one of the first mechanics in the country to rebuilt the engine on a Lambo Countach 25 Anniversary, he also worked at Fiat and Lancia, so if i get a Prancing Pony one day, and a Grale, i am taking it to him.

But...if it takes you 20 to buy a prancing horse....it means he will be retired then Adam!!!
