1998-2000 Pre ODBD II reader

Hi All,
Please do not laugh in case it is a stupid question. Just wonder if the Fiat 3-pin to OBDII cable and the following would allow it to read and clear the error code
of those 1998-2000 pre-OBDII standard 3200GT?

I bought 2 cables off ebay, and downloaded the software from the internet, this allows me to connect my non OBDII 3200 to my laptop, reset and read codes etc. All the info is on this site just need to dig it out.

Thanks Nick. I actually read the thread and realized the two cables and software will work.
Just curious if I could use the 3-pin Fiat cable and connect to my existing *** scan tool
to read the reset codes instead of hooking it up to the computer and install the software instead.

ah ok, i guess so, depends if your scan tool will read the codes correctly, connecting it to the port should be relatively simple, can you flash new software onto the reader?

I don't think the scan tool could be flashed with new updates. Will try if it works without needing to install software
onto the computer and hook up with the usb cable instead when these stuffs arrived in a few days.

Used that Scantool on the B5 RS6 and Mark 4 VR6 just to locate error codes and reset them for years and
perfectly happy with the 40 pounds spent. Hope it also works with the 3200!
