Very nice and just getting to an age when mileage starts to become an irrelevance and condition takes over.

It’s been up for sale for quite a while, in the Maserati Club mag and website. Nice car, but tricky to value, especially at that mileage. At half that mileage, it would sell. But as it is, I’d want it £10k cheaper.

If it was in Verde Mexico, and had less than 50k on the clock, I’d buy it. But no such RHD Cup exists, unfortunately.

I assumed it had sold as it had gone from the club site but obviously not, very nice looking car though.

It’s a nice looking car that “could be” well priced. However, given it’s higher mileage compared to others it indicates it’s been used. Not necessarily a bad thing at all, but would also indicate it’ll have encountered a fair bit of wear and tear, so a thorough check of corrective and maintenance work through it’s life is essential. Outside of the UK it appears well priced, as the low miles silver LHD is at around £90k. But they are two different markets with most of the rest of the world not really interested in RHD. I do love the Ghibli though……

Was the first Maserati model that pricked up my ears as a want, but couldn't afford one at the time.

I don't think i have seen two cars with the same gear knob !

i'm guessing they just picked up whatever they had in the factory at the time.

The gearknob on that car looks like an aftermarket one to me. Most cars had a leather gearknob from the factory but a lot of cars were fitted with the optional alloy ball style gearknob. Alloy door locking pins on the inside of the doors were also an option but I’ve only ever seen one car so equipped

As far as I recall, items such as the alloy door pins were simply an aftermarket item offered and fitted (from new) by Meridien Modena (the sole importer back at that time). I had them in my blue Cup, but not my silver one.
