Cheers. Slightly unexpected behaviour from one of the forum members on here - made an offer, which I accepted, but has now disappeared! Not to worry - looks like I'll be listing them on eBay with a buy it now when I get round to it!

.....in the current climate....changes of mind happen all the time.....but still....a little strange

P

Yeah, appreciate that - was just that I would usually expect people on this forum to just say if they've changed their mind, are thinking about it, etc etc. No big deal though!

Post up what you are looking for them?

Hi Mike - not sure really. They're expensive wheels and have just had £400 spent on them. The last set I saw was new (or refurbished) with new tyres for £3500. These aren't new but look pretty good with the newly done rims, have a few marks and the rear tyres are going to need replacing before long. A couple of people suggested they might get £1500.

I thought £1000 via the forum would be pretty decent value?

Just out of interest, are these still up for grabs? Not trying to mess anyone around - they're probably far nicer than what I need, but I'm mulling over getting a second set of 19" alloys to keep winter tyres on, in anticipation of cold weather japes.

They are on ebay.
Sacrilege using split rims for winter tyres!
18" 4200 wheels much better for winter tyres.
