‘Sharkfin’ Stonechip film rear arches

I’m trying to describe the protective film in front of the rear arches if it wasn’t obvious. (GranTurismo)

Anyway - I am replacing these on my car tomorrow, using a local place that will make to measure using Xpel ppf film. I noticed the OE sharkfins are very shallow - has anybody had a larger area covered or is the standard coverage sufficient ?

And is it just my car that somehow gets stonechips on the boot lid?

Replaced mine on the QP with ones of ebay which were larger than oem. These were black as my car is black. Larger was better as it covered area in front which also had chips.

It's just an image of the shapes cut. It is transparent. He does black if you ask which is slightly thicker he told me. I went transparent.
