‘Park off’ permanently on

TBF it’s just the sensor you can still drive it sensibly as the actual bearing part rarely fails.
Matt, I’ve noticed that the parking brake doesn’t actually hold the car, even on a slight incline. It actuates and you hear it whirring into position, on and off when requested, but can’t hold the car. These are Zep’s uprated rotors at the rear that needed ‘ruffing up inside’ as they wouldn’t hold because they are anodised. Could the ‘Park off’ error message be illuminating because the hand brake shoes are not ‘engaging’ fully?

Just to round this topic off, it appears the fault has been rectified.
The hand brake shoes were not engaging enough to hold the car, Aldous adjusted them and so far, the ‘Park off’ error message has not returned.
