‘Gear unavailable’ but new clutch

Odd but now and again I get a gear unavailable message, mostly on a down change. I say odd because it changes down exactly when asked but still get the message.

New clutch less than 2k mikes ago. Any thoughts?

Hmmm... no. I used to get that message, even a long while before the clutch needed doing, but post-clutch it disappeared. One of our excellent indies will know. Where are you based?

I got that message on mine just before my clutch went pop.

Get it to a specialist and get the codes read as Adam said.
