Where is the earth strap to the engine or starter motor on a GT?

As my GT is a second car I was thinking of using a battery tender to keep it charged. However my car lives outside. Is it a good or bad thing to have it in the boot?

New to GT ownership and got a EWL with a missfire. I am looking for a garage near me (Northants/Leicestershire/Warwichsire) that can diagnose it and do a repair under warranty. Help please
