Thought so too. The best modification too any car is instruction. Once I cannot get any more fun out of the car, maybe time to make some modifications to the car.
I should certainly start by making some modifications to my talent, Rob. It's easy to look at other peoples' mistakes and berate them for all the gear, no idea etc etc, but we've all made mistakes, just that many are less dramatic and not caught on camera.

Are you referring to your tour of the Bruntingthorpe outfields…?

Ouch! I haven’t done any track days for years now, but I though the common consensus was to overtake on the left? Looks to me like the Honda is giving a ton of space for that. Obviously we only see part of the track, I wonder if it wasn’t that busy, it’s just that everyone is bunched up at the same place.
When I was tracking, my insurance company wanted to know the group I was tracking with, and wouldn’t cover generic fun days, only those with a recognised owners club or known sensible group such as Lotus on Track or SIDC, so if that’s still a thing, we’ll, that BMW looks like a total loss to me! Good to hear all involved a

That and every time I've been lucky enough to not hit a patch of diesel, for there to not be a car coming the other way, etc etc etc.

The cone thing was the triumph of nerves over bravado. A braver or more talented man would have taken on the corner, with unpredictable results.

Its usually overtake on the left except when passing the pits entrance or exit and can be in some cases a part section of the track. So it does depend on the track and which section your in.

Anglesey has 3 sections where its overtake on the right for example.

I am learning all the time, and will continue to.
