What have you done to your Maserati today?

Well indeed, good people of this great forum, what have I done to it today? Needs must, so sell it to @soprano, that's what  Lovely chap and fingers crossed to him getting more from it than I got the chance to. I've really enjoyed having the cars & being on here, loads of helpful people &...

What have you done to your Maserati today?

You don't need to remove the seats, bit of shuffling them back & forth and reclining to get it out / put it back in the car but that's all. This video, although in German, was a handy guide

What have you done to your Maserati today?

Weather was good today so got the roof lining in. It fought back well with a monumental amount of faffery with the passenger sunvisor screws & nuts and though when I started the visor courtesy lights were working, now they're not. Checked the wiring I could get to & the visor (seems no power...

    SOLD

Hi all I've a 2008 vintage petrol cap for a Granturismo going spare, I have fitted a new eBay tether and it comes with a new clip for the car body. Cap & seal are 2008 as said; I never had any CEL aggro with it but it's been off a car a while so there is always a first time I suppose, if the...

What have you done to your Maserati today?

Nothing to the actual car today but got this back from the trimmers. Hopefully one day next week, if the weather permits, it'll be going back in along with all the trim bits currently sat on the 'workbench' a.k.a the Delta's roof. Then tax from the 1st of Feb and who knows, maybe even drive...

What have you done to your Maserati today?

My brand new second hand toolkit (blame Mat Armstrong on YT!) arrived, washed the cover back to nice & clean and is stashed in the boot. Steering column shrouds removed, manky black finish removed with acetone and back on in its cleaned natural finish. Keeping chipping away while I can!

What have you done to your Maserati today?

After removing the roof liner for re-trimming (what a disgusting job, what was once the foam was horrific) - good - but knocking the bloody mirror off in the process of getting it out - not good & I was pretty annoyed about that. However today I am much happier that I have replaced the...

    4200 Rear view mirror

Right, so just slide that bit out & glue it onto the black area, then slide the mirror onto that till it clicks in place? Thinking on it, there was a dash cam wire fed up to the mirror area which I'm removing so maybe the grey bit was for mounting that? Perhaps the cover was removed to fit the...

    4200 Rear view mirror

I removed the headliner today to go & be re-trimmed. In the midst of wrestling it out unfortunately the rear view mirror got in the way & came off. I've been through the car but can't see the trim piece anywhere that the drawing says should have been on it and to be honest I can't actually...

Removing A pillar interior cover, 4200

I don’t know if you’ve seen it but he also does a part 2 (‘teil 2’) where he re-trims the liner, which might be useful?

Removing A pillar interior cover, 4200

Shouldn't take long, 1 - 2 hours I would think. This is in German but the the YT subtitles aren't too horrendous if you want them on! It covers getting the headliner out pretty well, he does it without removing any seats, the rear shelf or C pillar trims so you might need to go further in your...

    Fuel filler cap

Sorry can’t help with the QP cap but just to say replacement tether cords are available on eBay. Just search ‘Maserati cord’ & you should see them. Same seller does cap seals too.

    The Cats thread!

Was looking at how to remove some 4200 interior parts, but seems I’d been looking long enough
