What model is it? If a Coupe it could be the power steering oil cooler radiator which is known to fail? (mine did years ago).
Good luck sorting it out.
Alas, I fear a prospective buyer will be pricing in a new clutch (and service) then; not sure of current costs but it isn’t cheap. Pity you can’t source any paperwork. Anyway, good luck with the sale, it looks like a nice example.
That is cheap, I got £12.75k for my 60k 2005 manual a few months ago, albeit after a bit of a wait and just one strongly interested party. It would help your ad if you could state when the clutch was done, as clutch wear can’t be measured on a manual (my clutch had 10k on it from memory).
I sold my good 60k manual facelift in the Summer for £12,750 - a “mint” price per Car and Classic magazine. I got out as I just didn’t want to play spare part price/supply Russian roulette any more and with the more limited ability to use the power these days (traffic volume, speed cameras...
It may well go cheap as there is likely very limited demand in Ireland; the Republic has penal car tax rates (for large engines) and no supporting dealers and the North has only Charles Hurst who probably very rarely see these and charge crazy main dealer rates. I only had one proper enquiry on...
Your price is spot on I think; I sold my decent 60k 2005 Coupe GT for £12.75k a few months ago. That was on Autotrader and after I dropped the price £1k due to lack of enquiries. Good luck with the sale.
No chance :-)
Dream spec and a keeper. Good luck finding a nice low mileage Supercharged that isn’t black/silver/leggy/tinted/pimped/rusty etc. Sills full of wax and lovingly cared for by BLRC.
Highly recommended. If you do spot one and you would like the services of a nosey...
Sold, for £12,750, which I think is about right for brisk private sale of good non concours car (and exactly the value in latest Classic Cars magazine value table).
Matt is obviously doing a whole seat repair to a very high standard. For those amateurs out there there are still half decent results to be achieved just with cleaner, sponge applied dye and sealant. Worth a crack at it if you are feeling brave.
Ps, looking closer at my photos just now I may well have given the rusty nuts a coat of grey hammerite years ago? Not sure it is the shape, or finish, you are referring to?
