    I've just acquired a 4200 CC. Where would I find the pollen filter ? Engine bay or in the passenger compartment?

    Yep.. second wire is the drivers notification (purple) and the thicker light blue and white is the power supply to the solenoid

    Found it.. as described.. broken wire in the flexi Also suspect the small wires are the open lid sensor. Because..1 it was showing safe whrnbtge lid is open. 2 there's a second broken wire

    I'll check that out tomorrow. If one pair is the activation for the solenoid. I'll need an assistant. What is the smaller pair for? The boot open for the driveres display ?

    There's two pairs of wires. One pair thicker than the other pair. How should I check for 12 volts in the boot? Other than use a meter lol. Is the solenoid permanently fed? And "triggered" What are the two pairs for? Could do with measuring one that's working .. compare a good one with my not so...
