    Exhaust valves

Manual all the time is the way to go! Tbh, I wouldn't bother with a switch on a Sport, whereas it was worthwhile on an S as otherwise no means of getting valves permanently open.

    Exhaust valves

2016 Sport is as follows: non-sport mode (auto or manual): valves never open; sport mode (auto): valves open permanently in Park and Neutral (didn't know that until today!); in Drive, valves open at 2600rpm; in Drive, valves open immediately if paddle used to change (ie temp change to...

GT Sport Auto - sound explanation

I have a 2015 Sport Auto and, as far as I'm aware, valves (as standard) operate as follows: non-sport mode - valves are shut (auto or manual); sport auto - valves open above 2400 revs; sport manual - valves permanently open. Also, in sport auto, using a paddle to change manually will open valves...

    Recalibrating touchscreen in Granturismo

Just to close off this thread......had some useful input from Matt (greatly appreciated....!) and after several attempt to get into somewhere where I could actually recalibrate the touchscreen I have today been successful. So now it's all functioning as it should, and I'm much better informed...

    Recalibrating touchscreen in Granturismo

I have a 2015 Sport with a Carplay setup already installed when I bought it. I've been having a few intermittent disconnections either of video output to the screen (where audio would continue) or, more recently, of the wired connection to my iPhone. Those have typically been resolved, until...

Granturismo Door mirror glass alternative part

And the results are good! All done, with bracket fixed with double sided tape stuff (used for attaching number plates etc.) rather than sikaflex. Figured that if needed I can reattach with sikaflex at a later stage. And they were done in time for the overnight frost yesterday morning, so I know...

Granturismo Door mirror glass alternative part

I'm in the process of doing similar on both my door mirrors - neither demist, but have 12v supply when rear screen turned on, and are both open circuit with a multimeter. I've bought some generic heating pads from AliExpress (actually bought 2 sets in case I make a b*lls of the first attempt -...

    Boot help

I had precisely this issue a few weeks ago, and I initially thought it was the "normal" Italian gremlins in the electrics. It turned out to be a wire broken in the rubber conduit going to the boot lid (as described elsewhere). The conduit is fairly easily removed from either end (boot lid and...

    Granturismo windscreen washer jets

I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago, and managed to clear them with a blast from an air hose (from the top rather than from underneath). Now have 4 powerful jets from each side, rather than a somewhat pitiful dribble from a couple of the jets and the others doing their best to miss the...
