The KW coilovers were about $5000 AUD at that time. They have prices on there website. Add in a wheel alignment as well. They are made to order and took about 8 weeks to arrive from Germany. I fitted them myself so there was no labour cost involved apart from the alignment.

That is correct. The sport button will alter gear change, open the mufflers, back off the traction control a bit and change the throttle mapping. The suspension becomes stand alone and doesn't change.

To go back to your original question, there is no easy way to have sport mode and soft suspension at the same time. The electrics use the CAN-bus system and every module is linked together with data transmitting between them.

It is an expensive option but if you can afford it fit KW coilovers, and then you can leave the car in sport mode all the time. That way you have the better gear shifting and far better ride and handling. It has transformed my GS and made it far more enjoyable to drive. It even handles the...
