Wow seriously?! Part of me wants to keep it and display it as its all I've got left of the car... But a bigger part of me would like a few hundred to go towards new wheels for my new car!

Mint condition (could do with a clean), doesn't look like it's ever been fitted. No idea what it's worth... There's one on ebay for £800 but that seems absurd! Open to offers, can post.

Yeah it's a little beauty. And it has popups! :cool: The camera is very kind to it though, the paint is actually 50 shades of pink after 30yrs of sun damage. But it polishes up well. Her plans involve a wrap so we're not all that fussed about making it perfect as it'll be covered eventually.

I kept the original hardware as I wanted to keep them looking as intended. And finally, reassembly! A very long slow process, torquing each bolt to spec, in a star pattern to keep things even. Finished off nicely with a new set of genuine HRE center caps. And the money shots... I'm more than...

As per my newbie thread, I bought a cheap, history unknown, 3200gt to play with. Its not to everyone's taste but it probably would have ended up as spare parts if I hadn't taken it on. Figured I might as well make a progress thread to show what I've done to it. The list so far - New water...

New fuse box in. All seems to be working fine. Also found the reverse light fuse was blown and blew a new one as soon as I turned them on. Quick investigation revealed a wire by the bulb trapped and frayed by one of the light unit mounting bolts. Tucked it out of the way and wrapped it back up...

Oh oops, I did search but didn't see that one! I've looked at the exact kit in that thread so that's a bonus. Thank you. :)
