    Cheapest Gransport in the country

Thanks for the comments. Andy - know what you mean about the grey leather, I was hesitant at first. However, once I saw it in the flesh I was quite taken by it. I've had so many black leather interiors before it made a refreshing change I guess.

    Cheapest Gransport in the country

OK, so maybe the highest mileage one too! http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/maserati/gransport/maserati-gransport-2005--new-clutch/1150005 She's been a dream to own and drive over the last 2.5 years, but time has come to do the sensible thing. I'm looking to trade in for an...

GS Sound system/Navi unit operational in ACC mode?

Sorry for the way this sounds, but have you tried pressing the ON button? ;) Mine turns off with the key too, but I can turn the unit back on even with the keys out of the ignition by pressing the ON button.

A happy day - sort of!

Well the GS it's on it's way home with everything done and surprisingly Maranello didn't find much to mention on the inspection and said it was a pretty sorted car which was nice. Bring on the sunshine :)

A happy day - sort of!

Yeah, I am sort of expecting that! I had a list of jobs to get done on the car following the initial inspection when I bought it from Biil McGraths about 16 months ago. Everything has been done so far, so it will be interesting!

A happy day - sort of!

Thought you might like to know, got the best price for a clutch inc.release bearing from Maranello in Egham in the end - they beat all the indies and are only 25 mins down the road. Annual service was also the cheapest - think I got lucky as they had a cancellation. GS goes in tomorrow morning...

A happy day - sort of!

Dick Lovett price - tiny bit cheaper than Emblem, nice to see the main dealers being competitive though!

A happy day - sort of!

I made sure prices were for the same work and include fitting, balancing and VAT. I questioned the R Aerospace price as they are generally cheaper on most things, his response was basically that they balance it properly! Shame as they are the nearest to me and he did sound like a very...

A happy day - sort of!

Well after my head deciding I need to sell my Gransport just before Christmas my heart just wouldn't let me do it, so here I am looking forward to sunny weather still as a Maserati owner :) As I'm keeping her I think I need to shell out a few quid as the clutch seems to be finally on it's way...

    A sad day...

Thanks for the comments guys - I'm still very torn. I've got a company called Dads Speed Shop offering to sell the car for me - I can see advantages of it but am a little sceptical, any one had any experience with them?

    A sad day...

It's a head over heart day and I've put my Gransport up for sale. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3383748.htm She's spent a lot of time on the motorway, but has never caused me any problems. I'm just putting too many miles on her now. I may well have a complete change of heart in the...

    What's this - again!

I've just replaced mine (£5 from an alfa dealer - it's the same part) - it's a stability arm for the drivers-side wiper. Without it the blade get's a little loose and flops about, especially at motorway speeds. Mine broke in exactly the same place as emtree's - I guess they get brittle over...

    Becker SD Card

I'd be interested to know if the SD card works. I deliberately bought an MMC card as this is what is specified in the manual (MMC is the precursor to SD, typically MMC cards work with SD readers, but not necessarily the other way round, so good luck). The manual (or at least my manual) doesn't...

    Uneven brake ware 4200 cc

Interesting post - I've noticed the same thing on mine. New discs with Greengripper pads too - I've also noticed the ABS kicking in a little earlier than you might expect, although this might be due to the shocking suface at the end of my road! Might have to have them out and file em off a bit...
