Pedant! There's a 12 in the name, at least. I did hear that the V12 engine will resume being manufactured at some point, possibly by Cosworth, maybe Ricardo. But most likely not AM. Shame, it's an absolute gem.Erm, it’s not a V12

I thought the V12 vantage thing was the last V12. That’s what Aston said wasn’t it?I believe one will come eventually before they will be no more.

The Cosworth V12 is in Gordon Murray's T50..its naturally aspirated too....barp!!!Pedant! There's a 12 in the name, at least. I did hear that the V12 engine will resume being manufactured at some point, possibly by Cosworth, maybe Ricardo. But most likely not AM. Shame, it's an absolute gem.
The DB12 does look nice, but it's a feck-ton of money and won't hold value. The new V12 Vantage isn't reaching overs despite being limited production, but in fairness to Aston they're refusing to take back the cars of wannabe flippers for anything more than retail price. Buyers lucky enough to get one who planned on flipping are being denied the chance when they decide they 'just don't really get on with it.' Not an issue sir, we'll buy it back but don't expect to make any profit. Anyone who tries to profit outside the network gets blacklisted.
Vanquish is arguably Aston Martins most elegant modern design. It is ageing really well and looks better today than it did when it came out. A true beauty.Widely held that the V8 DB11 was better balanced than the V12 and I agree other than a V12 is a V12. I would prefer an Aston designed at the outset to have a V12 and one that didn't look like it was trying too hard. They have yet to improve on the Vanquish looks/interior/AMi III infotainment. Add into that a full carbon-fibre bodyshell and na V12, save a fortune and buy a Vanquish. Smaller as well, can get in car parks.

Nice but like all modern sportscars these days just trying too hard
I heard starting price of £165K - for sure you will be able to spend a lot more than that on it! For me will depend a bit on how it sounds - not too farty please, more class. On paper I would take it over the new Maserati GT but let's see how they age and depreciate over the next several years.I like it very much (but haven't looked at pricing yet). What we can be sure of is that it will have beeps and bongs galore because regulations.
