Hi to the PZero detractors, I did go out this afternoon on the icy roads. 40 mile round trip from north west London to Brent Cross, Hampstead Heath, Royal Free Hospital and various stops in Kensington, Hammersmith and then home with a full tank of petrol after filling up. Lots of steep hills and descents. Apart from engaging I.C.E. mode, drove the car with little adjustment - she drove beautifully.

Those who know my posting, know I’m a mild mannered forum member but honestly i found some of your PZero p!sstakes laughable and irritating in equal measure because I do hate pile-ons.

Anyhow the PZeros were just fine and my QP was as pleasurable to drive as in any normal day’s driving. As I posted earlier, it may be that I have the new gen PZeros or whatever, but I really don’t care about making the case for them anymore to the piler onners…

Took some pics along the way for the doubters… the last pic cornering a regular bend at my normal speed…
Your local, let’s meet up one day

Which raises another point, is Hyundai the most mediocre car brand at the moment?
I think they always have been. Honda and Toyota are generally bland, in my opinion, too. Not mediocre per se...just boring. And I will never ever love a front-wheel-drive car.

Not sure Chrysler knows what it's doing. But that's not new, either.

But Honda Cars do F1 motors (just) , and are synonymous with bike racing, Toyota have Gazoo racing and the GR brand, Hyundai have....err...

The i30N is supposed to be brilliant. Civic type R and a whole selection of Toyotas too. They have to make the dross to sell to the masses so every now and again they can make a Supra or NSX.

And it’s irrelevant anyway as Vauxhall is still in business.

I think the racing thing is just so divorced from reality at this point as to not signify much about a particular brand. Like "stock" car racing here...where's the two-door Camry on any dealer's lot? And Red Bull isn't doing R+D for their commercial products...unless it's motor oil in those shiny cans my twenty-something son guzzles.

All in the past...many years ago...eons...and then it was a flash in the pan...what have they done since? ;)

It was 2 years ago! They got a 1-2-3 at Acropolis this year. The inability to keep politics under control did for them. They’ve now got Abiteboul from Renault F1 so you may be right.

Marc Marquez won championships from 2013-2019 bar 2016 but now is seen as uncompetitive thanks to anybody on a Ducati or Fabio Quatararo...
