I've got pain in my right heel which is probably arthritis but I haven't done anything about it, that's not the answer I was looking for :D

Deeply unpleasant but comparatively easy to fix. Had it in both feet although several years apart. If you have access to a decent physio therapist shockwave, followed by massage and TENS seems to be the protocol. Not a bundle of laughs, but it works.

For now, if you think it is that there's plenty of stretching exercises you should practice, and fill a plastic bottle with water, freeze it and then roll your instep two or three times a day. Also not fun but at least you get to drink while doing it....

With the massive increase in COVID cases locally it’s getting more and more worrying doing my treatment at the hospital.
They have now moved us back to doing treatment in the main hospital which is not ideal. Fingers crossed and all that

Me too, hope it goes well for you , if you've gt to make multiple trips over the next few months would it be worth investing in a proper filtered mask,if such a thing exists for public use

I've had it in both feet, several years apart. Get a GP referal to a specialist & request a steroid injection into the heel. I had it done and been trouble free for years...
