A guy I used to know, hillclimbed a yellow Frogeye, didn’t turn up at the pub one night. His mate who had a part share in the car went round his house the following day to find him trapped, dead under the car.

My mum had one of these that she inherited from my grandfather, which I learnt to drive in. However, it didn’t look this good, as it was a ‘chocolate’ brown colour. It was great fun though, 5 gears and would almost do 100mph. Much better than the dire Fiat Uno she replaced it with, which sounded like it was going to explode at 80mph!!!
i had 3 cars rot in front of my eyes.. an alfasud, an alfa spyder and a Capri Mk1... not seen rust on a car properly since happilyRust was a problem for a lot of cars back in the day - including the vast majority of British cars. It's just that certain manufacturers (Lancia spring to mind) were tarnished with a (really) bad reputation.
Fiat 127 Super Sports... how I wanted my mum to buy this one instead of the baby blue one she purchased instead.
Yes used to drink in the same pub in Edgbaston. Friend of my best mate from school’s uncle. That would be Stuart Bullas ?
