Does anyone yet know, if you can have virus, recover and then have immunity, not only from the disease as a danger to yourself, but also so you can no longer carry it and pass it on?

Any of you medical types here? Or are we in the dark about this?

Not to cast aspersions on your source (genuinely, as I would fully expect No 10 to be controlling the message) the BBC reports I heard were quite clear that he had been on oxygen last night.

Nobody can say with any certainty but the consensus would seem to be that you develop an immunity ..... whether that means you can't carry it is unknown

It would be unlikely as conventional theory would be that you have a very low viral load.

No one knows yet for sure. Several theories are around. Complicated by the false negatives and false positives of test results, percentage of untested asymptomatic carriers etc. Some people think it can be latent and reactivated etc. There are new theories all the time re: it’s pathogenesis. We are too early in the cycle to say for any certainty. It’s a very intriguing pathogen though no doubt! It’s affect on haemoglobin will be key

They even mentioned the percentage he was on, I believe they said 20% (which apparently is low).
Apparently you could have up to 100%.

Just heard the same on sky and BBC both said he,s hasn't got pneumonia but has been aided with his breathing via oxygen , contigo suggest you go and buy a VW Golf if you must put all your money on red

When I was ill 2010 with 'fever of unknown origin' I had an oxygen mask on - I know that's not a ventilator but what it is?
