So then, you're driving along a motorway you've passed a junction and are approaching a slip road with traffic joining the main carriageway. As you are level with the slip road, the car to your left in the slip road has matched your speed (70mph).
There is nothing in the outside lane.
Do you:
A) Maintain your speed and course so that the car joining the motorway adjusts theirs (they give way to you)
B) Speed up, above the limit, to allow the driver to your left room to join the carriageway behind you.
C) Slow down, below the limit, to allow the driver to your left room to join the carriageway in front of you.
D) Mirror, Signal, Manoeuvre into the empty outside lane, allowing the other car plenty of room to do what he wants.
