might be in the minority, but I quite like the matching interior with the paint...............each to their own

I like tech cloth and in the "cloth" so to speak looks great. Less slippery, and better in a hot climate where the majority of these were sold it makes sense.

Just looking at the advert again...24k for a car with a new clutch when prices are on the up seems pretty good.....I know it's a 2004 car and miles aren't bad either....Good opportunity to get a GS for under 25k....

Tech cloth cars really are cheap... surely you could get this retrimmed in leather and have a £28k car?

Leather is a desirable option for most buyers but i wouldn't of thought it is worth 4k extra - between £1500 and £2000 would be my estimate. In any case this is the first GS to come up for a while privately and a good opportunity for someone to snap up a potentially good car.

Like the OP I would take it as it is and discount the price of the clutch.
Given that price would be negotiable anyway you could have a really good car for a little over £20k.
Looks like an honest advert about an honest well maintained car in a desirable colour. Ok interior may not be my first choice but it is a bit different and I would happily live with it.
If it passed an inspection I think it is a potential bargain.

Would a private buyer really knock off 4/5k of an asking price of a 24/25k car......That's a big drop.......If I have sold cars in this price range I wouldn't take much more than £500 off......When a clutch is 2400 plus I think I would get a bit of the car and have the clutch thrown in...

I like it and don't mind tech cloth either. However not the colour of that tech cloth though. Baby blue. Alright if you want explore your feminine side

That car is an absolute bargain. The tech cloth is not to everyone's taste, especially in that colour. Blue leather divides opinion also. I'd buy the car with a new clutch already fitted and then have the interior retrimmed for £3-4K. It would still be a cracking buy with a minty fresh interior of my choice of colour.

Agreed, excellent service history and a great colour too - a steal when you compare it to many others for sale

Lovely, I think the tech cloth and the colour really suits it. Far prefer this to the beige, cream or ivory leathers with are so difficult to maintain and keep looking good.

Perhaps they would do a deal with the QP...........Seems like a great chance to get a GS for a decent price.
