Let’s hope so, I couldn’t see any broken clip bits on the floor though.Mrs C lost the clutch on hers on the M25. AA man said it was master cylinder. It was the clip at the linkage. Took our specialist 3 minutes.....

Sorry to hear you broke your foot, I hope it wasn’t gruesome. How did you break it?A flat-bed at my house for the first time….after 1 year of Maserati ownership I had to suffer the the “tow of shame”
I broke my foot so didn’t start my QPV for (only) 3 weeks. It refused to fire up, did turn over fine. Tried the trickle charger for 2 weeks, still no luck. Got the battery out and had it charged at my BMW dealer and then it started. Initially idling at 500rpm with no (proper) response to the throttle which I attributed to maybe excess fuel in the system due to many start attempts. It then settled into its normal 1000rpm with normal throttle response. I let it run for 10 min, then had to secure the battery properly. After that it would only splutter/misfire but it wouldn’t start up properly.
As the battery was less than 2 yes old I dropped it off at the dealer for testing, it came back as 91% and good health. I cleaned the MAF (which looked pristine) just in case. After another failed attempt it was time to throw the towel in the ring and let the dealer do his thing.

It was pretty bad, two titanium plates and 8 screws..still limping but slowly getting better at walking. Fell in the most dangerous place in the house at night…the bathroom, wish it was more glamorous - and have to report some good Maserati dealer service: the car was trucked in free of charge (50km!)…but I’m sure they will get me back one way or another.Sorry to hear you broke your foot, I hope it wasn’t gruesome. That sounds awful re the ankle and how annoying it was in such mundane circumstances! I hope it heals quickly and you also don’t set off every airport body scanner you go through. It was pretty bad, two titanium plates and 8 screws..still limping but slowly getting better at walking. The more I look at this, the harder it becomes to find a bad line. Just such a simple and beautiful shape. As a design, the QP IV is under rated. Here we go...

I'd like to be the first to set Ewan up for his default defence of Pirelli's finest by stating that this accident is almost certainly directly and solely attributable to the crapness of PZeros.Ambition vs talent perhaps? Hopefully it will be repaired soon and no one was injured.
