I have just had my 2009 Sprinter service under the service contract. The hand brake need adjustment (same as 3200/4200 etc) one bulb was changed and they had to repair a trapped wire to the radio which I think they caused replacing the radio under warranty 18 months ago. Cost for this £312 inc vat when I moaned they reduced to £250. & guess what the hourly rate at this commercial main dealers is ? £81 per hour

Makes my 4200 look a cheap runabout

Glad I live in Portugal. Maserati main dealer charges the equivalent to 60 pounds/hour and my trusted independent mechanic only the equivalent to 20 pounds/hour.

You are being robbed!!

If you live in the south of England you could ask Mike Roberts at Maserati Shed. He's pretty cheap and really knows his stuff.

Rwc13 there are only two dealerships in Portugal, Lisbon and Oporto. I only know the one in Lisbon. If you ever need anything just PM me. I can also introduce you to my independent mechanic, he has over 20 years experience with Ferrari/Maserati and is regarded as the top man in Portugal!

Maserati compared to Ferrari are positively cheaper and I know having had two prancing horses thankfully the previous owner of my 456 GTA paid the big bills.
In my experience the 456 was a cheaper affair than the 360 but that was look of the draw.
I enjoyed both for their own charms.
On my second 4200 F1 and for me will always have one.
Will I have another Fezza probably but not at the minute.
Phil.

I will take you on that offer.
I have a 3200 in Luxembourg but might be taking it to Portugal in a year or so for a paint/body job and I might take the oportunity to have the valve adjustement done.
