Hahahahaha,
Lots of opinions which is good!
Pistonheads - 20 GT under £40k, 10 Grey, 6 Black, 2 White (One a respray / wrap) and ...........1 Red.

So-if you want Grey / Silver with a shocking red interior or Black with a black interior you have a few to choose from.

Agree :) colour is always a very personal thing hence why there are usually so many options available. I did share a similar shade known as Rosso Trionfale (burgandy, maroon!?) GTS which was at HR Owen few months ago it was a bit darker than this and looked amazing!

I've also noticed an increase in GTs for sale -
Couple of Months back was always between 80-90 on autotrader but now over 120 for sale

Suspect September October is a busy time for car sales, just like houses, then things will die down in December and pick up again in the spring.

I am on the look out for a GT but as Andy says you can get a 4.2 with low miles for 30k or spend £15k more and get a 4.7S. I am not sure I want to stretch to that extra budget really at the moment and the 4.7 sure does drink fuel compared to the 4.2? I think a remap and exhaust on the 4.2 is the way to go for me right now and also give me more choice.

I'm limited by interior colour as I cannot and will not have any shade of red or Ivorio. It has to be tobacco/tan or black and exterior Mediterraneo, Carbonio, Alfieri or Rosso Mondiale. I am not having another silver car and certainly not the burgundy colour which has been discussed here :)

Going to be a good search Phil! Plenty of Black and Grey, but as you say difficult with interiors. If Med Blu comes up you will need to strike like a Cobra I fear ( lol) don't see too many Rosso either,

Happy searching!! Ha- first look and a blue pops up!

Phil. Some interesting points there on the 4.2 GT.

Iwonder what the % difference is between the cars in the real world. I was joined by a 4.2 owner some years back on a forum trip to Cumbria. He had larini system on it and it sounded wonderful and could be heard from afar in the valleys.

The cost between similar age and miles is as you say £15k +...thats enough for a excellent 3200/4200 or a leggy GS.

Yes and I want to keep the 3200 as my future classic toy (look at prices of 70's Maser's now!) and have a GT so there's more reason to go with the 4.2!
