Meridien will not drop the price it is not in their re-mit. You may get a slight discount if you are serious but they NEVER drop the screen price on any of their stock.

Posted the other week Adam...........Lots of money.....The thing is Miles make a dif will always be a 2005 car no matter whatference but not as much as people think...a 2005 car and only worth up to a certain amount....Some will always ask more hoping someone will be caught it the low miles trap........The only time miles make a massive difference is when its a classic or older car....Saying that, what do I know there are plenty out there with low miles and people asking 8/9k more than a higher miles car...

Ehm, not true.

My mate Chris went down there to view a GTS up at £65k

I told him to offer £60k and walk out.

He never made the door!

Places like car giant dont drop prices but a friend got 1k off a a4!

Always room for negotiation after a few weeks of tyem advertising, if you go for something as soon as they get it you must be prepared to buy at asking price!!

There is always room for movement on price...Thats the nature of car sales......Even if it's a couple of £100.....

You have to go in ready to walk if you want a reduction....

If you know you have the right car and youve been looking for ages then its the other way round.....be ready to pay asking price....

I monitor cars on sale, just like my job i monitor houses and if i see a house kn market for ages that has not sold i contact th and get them to sack the other agent and come to me, but also get a price reduction doing so....same with cars

If its been for sale for a good number of weeks go in and get a deal, if you go in 1st day they have it you wont get anything off

These days though, what is their stock, and what is on commission sale, brokerage?
My friend has just bought a 997 Turbo, that was for sale at a specialist, and through contacts knew the car was on a commission sale and the owner was desperate to sell...so he got it at a ridiculous low price.
He now however has his 996 GT3 at another specialist, also a commission sale. As far a potential buyer viewing the car, they would not know.
When you think about, with high end performance cars costing £££, a dealer could not afford to have so much outlay on cars. Look at Specialist Performance Cars in Malton...can you believe they actually own the three-off Porsche Carrera GT's they have in stock? I bet some if not all are on brokerage.

Many traders do a "sale or return" SOR!

Most are other peoples cars as was mine when i bought it...do your research, theres always a deal to be had

Matt as I said if you are there with a buying head on they will move on price but don't change screen prices. They don't do consignment (sale or return/commison sale) and they offer very low buy in prices when your not doing part X.

I like them and have in general had great service from them but they know that their reputation is held in high esteem and the play on it when needed.
