Dear Fellow Maseratisti, I wish to buy the above parts (Genuine or non-Genuine). Does anybody have any suggestions? Thank you. Cheers, Ron

The OEM 'carbon' boot spoiler is not made entirely of carbon fibre. It's the standard ABS plastic item with a single skin of carbon fibre laid over, not very well! It's therefore actually heavier than the plastic item and so defeats the point of being made of carbon! I'm not sure about the door sill covers, but suspect they're the same. A guy in Australia (member on here) called Alvin makes aftermarket parts for these cars out of carbon fibre. Expensive, though.

Last time I visited there, Alvin mentioned a larger profile rear spoiler more like the GT one being developed.
Contact Ray or Alvin at AutoRacingTechnik in Melbourne.

I have located the following genuine carbon fibre parts at Niello Maserati, Sacramento. The cost of these parts IMHO is insane !!!:crazy::crazy:

Rear Spoiler Maserati Part Number: 69145900 2,427.75USD = 3,304.00 (approx).

Door Sill Plate Maserati Part Numbers: Driver Side 68332600 & Passenger Side 68332500 2,2287.32USD = 3,113.00AUD (approx).

Therefore the total cost of the three parts is 6,417.00AUD (approx).

Add the cost of shipping, import duty & sales tax.

Unfortunately this cannot happen for me. :sad1:

BTW Niello do not process international orders.

Sounds in keeping with an £800 rubber door seal that costs £50 on most cars

I have a carbon rear spoiler I bought for my Grigio Nuvolari GS but never got round to fitting it and the MCV already has a carbon spoiler so I could be persuaded to sell it......

That's how it starts, a spoiler , then wheels , then exhaust, then tuning , then divorce

Ha !!! Yes !!! My wife would be feeding me my own plums for breakfast !!! And that would be after just buying a rear spoiler for 500GBP, never mind the door sills !!! I have not yet bought a GS. However if the car I eventually purchase does not have these sexy bits already fitted, that unfortunately will be the way it shall remain. :(
