Have you seen the new question regarding tappet noises ? I've had a look but can't find whether they are hydraulic.......does your book say anything ?

Is there any chance you could copy the section on how to adjust the cables from the gear lever to the gear box on a manual car ? . My gear selection is a bit clunky and not smooth .

George, cant say I have ever seen that listed in the 4200/GS manual, its pretty basic. It lists the engine and Gearbox stripdown in very good detail. For things like electrics you have to refer to the 3200 book.

This is why I would shy away from this job. It takes experience to setup correctly.

Someone like Rob at Grimaldi would be your best and cost effective option.

I can try to get pictures of the important ones if you can tell e which bit you need? Or better still see if you can get one of the members with the manual on CD to e-mail it!
