Winter Storage.

I kept my cars in outdoor carcoons the first year we were here and although they kept the majority of the weather off and continuously moved air through it the cars showed signs of damage, nothing major but slight marks on the edges where in the wind the carcoon had moved to touch the paint work and one had let a bit of damp in that seemed to fester. Last year I just had them under a car port with open ends which let natural air flow through and even though they occasionally got wet on one end or another they dried quickly and suffered a lot less over the winter than they did in the carcoon. A much better solution IMO, just need to build the bloody garage

I have a heated garage and I never cover the cars inside. Needs a wash in the spring. Mind you, it’s usually raining when it’s not snowing…,

We've got the best of both worlds - the garage is so badly built it has constant air flow!
Air flow is Good in my workshop I've left one of my glass block windows without a top row purely for that reason to keep the air moving.
