Congratulations Sam…..not had the mk1 but had 3 mk2 a and they are great cars
One of them was the 100hp and that was fun

Well done Sam.

Dem I had the 100hp as a loan car once and agree it was loads of fun. It’s is what they do so well. Made you a hooligan around roundabout's.

Fiat got it right with the 500 Twinair 105 bhp as that too is a real hoot when I get chance to get a go in Ms French's one.

Small Pandas in fact small Fiats are more often than not good, flat out everywhere. The 4x4 Panda is more accomplished than you might expect especially with decent tyres

Reliable? Hear so many stories about those 2 strokes mainly on Mitos, love the sound though
Had ours nearly 3 years and 20,000 miles done by Ms French.
Had a Boost pipe split which didn't stop the car driving.
Service it properly with the the correct engine oil.
Most annoying thing was the Blue and Me module playing up cost €120 to be repaired.
Rate it highly but impossible to get 70 MPG but does 45 to 50 all the time in Sport mode :)
