Moss Side as the name would suggest, is full of the widest variety of flora and fauna. In the late 80's I lived in a student house close to Princess Parkway, perhaps the most scenic route into the city and I used to be lulled to sleep by the sound of AKs, as rival Yardie gangs fought turf battles in the wee small hours.

Worked in an office on the Princess Parkway in the early 1990s. Nice secure car park with a lot of spaces. One day we observed the local scroats playing a new game throwing half bricks over the fence to see which cars they could hit and set the alarms off. Needless to say I parked my car well away from the fence.
