Having just replaced the water pump on my 2001 3200, which took rather longer than expected, largely down to not being rushed rather than mechanical ineptitude! I am approaching completion, I must say how helpful the threads on cambelt and water pump removal are. But I am left with a dilemma.
The secondary air system on the later models has two valves at the top front of the engine - these are connected by an air tube into a 'Y' connection piece (part number 28 on the diagram and shown as the white bit of plastic in the photo)
Normally I carefully mark everything and colour code with paint, this I clearly forgot! where does it go - there should be a bit of flexible rubber pipe floating around somewhere BUT WHERE IS IT? its not the one on top of the TB, that is just a vent.
I don't even have a spare bit of pipe so I assume that one end is still connected to whatever it should be. The euro spares diagrams list the two pipes to the Y piece and then show in dotted the pipe I am missing
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
